Have now got an iPhone - have spent years refusing to buy anything by Apple. I own a Sony Connect player rather tahn an iPod, I use a PC rather than a Mac, I’ve balked at using iTunes and instead always relied on Microsofts Media Player or WinAmp for my music but I’ve succumbed and got an iPhone. And its fucking fantastic - ubiquitous computing gone good. I really should have paid more attention in those leactures about it at university - I had hangovers to deal with instead and these were always far more pressing than combining a phone with a music device.

Has anyone else read the book/graphic novel/comic (call it what you want), Lost Girls? I got it a while back and just got round to reading about it. I’m a big fan of Alan Moore - I love Watchmen (soon to be a movie - Watchmen trailers here).

Anyway ‘Lost Girls’ is pretty much smut boxed up as art. Nice if you like that kinda thing. Basically it takes charcters from literary history and sexualises them. So Wendy (Peter Pan), Dorothy (Wizard of Oz) and Alice (Through the looking Glass) take us on a strange erotic journey.  Book ones good and sets up the story lines effectively, book two loses its way and is pretty much just pornography in comic book form and book three closes the story lines off effectively.

Did you ever listen to ‘Radio Indie Pop‘. If not it’s too late. As it appears to have done the way of the betamax video. Its died and looks unlikely to air again. Indie pop radio was a free online radio station where you selected the kind of music you wanted to listed to based upon the day of the week: Monday was chilled out and relaxing music to break you into the week whereas Friday and Saturday were more aggressive and designed to get you into the mood for going out for the weekend. And to add to it all they had an eigth choice - Ramones Radio. The Ramones 24/7. Which is an idea of complete genius.

I also used to use Pandora but thats US listeners only now - so that’s fooked as well.

I went out looking for a pair of flared cords at lunch time on the Internet and couldn’t find any. So instead I decided to buy some new trainers. I almost bought a fake pair of Bape Sta off of ebay but couldn’t get my head around it - it would feel like I’d soiled myself. So instead I went for a pair of the Puma RS100 Emergency trainers I’d had my eye on for a while.

This weekend was a nice relaxing one. Party on Friday night and then a stroll around Edinburgh on Saturday. All in all very nice and relaxing. Sunday was spent getting in touch with folks about general stuff (like Stereolab tickets) and other such nonsense.

Anyway its Moday, its raining (again) and looks like being a thoroughly miserable day with little to brighten the outlook. So I thought I’d put up some pics of cute girls to help everyone get through the day.
