Would appear the money grabbing git responsible in part for the economic crisis which has led to a number of friends and colleagues being laid off has a twitter page - ok maybe its a parody of what Sir Fred Goodwin will be up to - but TBH I dont care the guys a c**t.

So the more people who want to take a pop at this pratt, who resigned from his job at RBS rather than get sacked and then pockets a £650,000 pension and has no compunction that this a is a bit off, the better as far as I’m concerned.

I was just over at fubiz wasting a couple of minutes before having to read my way through more crap in my inbox. And I found some cool little images by Alexandre Efimov - apparently he’s from St Petersburg in Russia (I’m having an Elvis was a hero to most moment here as if I should know who he is and dont).

So thats him - off to listen to the telescopes radio station at last.fm to help me get through what is turning into an untterly crappy day.

I am thinking of going over to Amsterdam for a couple of days to get away from everything. You know the doom and gloom of the recession etc. Amsterdam one of my favourite beers, and also contains one of my favourite restaurants in the world so it seems like a prime opportunity.

I’ve been looking at either flying to amsterdam or getting the ferry to amsterdam and here’s my quandry so far.

• Plane is quicker, cheaper and more convenient- but is less civilised (flying bus)
• Ferry is longer, more relaxing, a little less convenient but costs a bit more.

So what should I do? 

If anyone has travelled by ferry recently to Amsterdam or anywhere TBH can you let me know. I fly quite often so I know what to expect and I’ve not been on a ferry since (apart from St.Kiits to Nevis) and my last ferry across the north sea was over 20 years ago and all I remember doing is throwing up!
