Jhung Yuro Trainers
In the same way that I evolved from Takashi Murakami prints into those by Chiho Aoshima my tastes in trainers is developing. I still have my mad cultural fascination with everything from Japan but my tastes are altering over time. Gone is my fascination with the neon-day-glo styles and increasingly I’m being interested by the more subtle expressions of culture, architecture and design I’m finding. My recent new desire is for the trainers designed by Jhung Yuro.
Jhung Yuro, pronounced ‘young euro’, is a collabortaion between Jhung Yuro and Caesar Lunix. Caesar Lunix also has his own trainer range which are cool. Unfortunately they’re websites are out of date - with only the fall 2007 ranges visible on the sites. Below are some images from these ranges just a taster of how good these gutties (nb. gutties is Scottish for ‘trainers’) are.
Jhung Yuro - Hiker Low II

Jhung Yuro - Old School Mid

Caesar Lunix - CLX Vulc Low

Great shoes with great designs and fab colour schemes are likely to keep Jhung Yuro trainers growing. they’re far more refined than Bape Sta - that said I do still want a pair of Iron Man Bape trainers but as all I ever seem to see are fakes I’m probably going to have to start accepting that I’ll never get them.
Any ideas on how to get some of these Bape Sta (real ones)…

I just acquired a pair of those today from an Exchange store, still in mint condition… Try looking into exchange stores like those buy trade sell type places.
